Brazadas Swim League is a summer recreation swim team and 8-week program designed to help swimmers ages 5–18 grow from swim lessons into confident, competitive athletes. In a fun and supportive team environment, swimmers build strong technique, increase endurance, and develop the skills needed for race-day success.


Designed to inspire a lasting love for the sport, Brazadas guides swimmers through the transition from lessons to team training and competition. Athletes will refine stroke mechanics, learn race strategies, and gain valuable experience competing alongside their teammates.


As part of the Kern County Swim Council Summer Recreation League, swimmers have the opportunity to participate in local meets and experience the excitement of team competition throughout the season.

BRAZADAS SWIM LEAGUE

Age: 5–18

Curriculum: Continued development of stroke technique, introduction to structured workouts, race preparation, and team-based training. Focus on consistency, endurance, and sportsmanship.

Equipment: Kickboard, pull buoy, cap, goggles, mesh gear bag

Dates: May 18 – July 11

Practice Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 6:30–7:30 PM

Fees: Register early and save!

  • Early Bird: $250 (through April 19)
  • Regular: $300 (after April 19)
  • Brazadas Swim Club Members: $100 add-on

What’s Included:

Summer League: Part of the Kern County Swim Council Summer Recreation League, with opportunities to compete in local meets throughout the season.

Swim Meets: Not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

Championship Meet: Brazadas will host the Kern County Summer Recreation League Championships at East Side Aquatic Center on July 11.

Special Note: Open to all community members—no Brazadas Swim Club membership required.
