Rachel Gardner

Assistant Swim Coach

Rachel is a student-athlete at CSU Bakersfield, where she is pursuing a degree in Psychology and competing as a Division I swimmer for the Roadrunners. Her experience as a collegiate athlete has strengthened her leadership, discipline, and communication skills while giving her a valuable perspective on the demands of competitive swimming.


Rachel began her coaching career as a swim instructor with De Anza Cupertino Aquatics and later coached with Milpitas Aquatic Club and Aquazot Swim Club. Her experience ranges from introducing young swimmers to the fundamentals of the sport to helping competitive athletes improve their technique, confidence, and training habits.


At Brazadas Swim Club, Rachel assists primarily with the Navy Team and B-Team divisions. She brings positive energy, a current athlete’s perspective, and a genuine passion for helping swimmers grow both in and out of the pool.
