Izzy Dorsett

Swim League Coach

Izzy has been swimming competitively for 13 years and continues her swimming career at Bakersfield College, where she is pursuing a degree in elementary education. Her experience as both a student and athlete has strengthened her passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping young people grow.

Before joining the coaching staff, Izzy was a respected team leader with Brazadas and served as team captain at Liberty High School. She understands the commitment required to succeed in the sport and the importance of creating a positive, supportive team culture.

Izzy began coaching with the Brazadas summer recreational team and has also taught swim classes and private lessons. These experiences have allowed her to work with swimmers of different ages and ability levels while developing her skills as an instructor and mentor.



As a Brazadas coach, Izzy is excited to give back to the program that helped shape her as an athlete. She brings enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to help swimmers build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a lifelong love of swimming.
