Free Water Safety Swim Clinic: October 18th
Water safety is more than a precaution — it’s a lifesaving necessity.
Every year, thousands of families are impacted by drowning tragedies that could often be prevented with greater awareness and preparation.
According to the American Red Cross:
- 4,000 people lose their lives to drowning in the U.S. each year — that’s 11 people every day.
- 22 more people each day survive non-fatal drownings, often with lasting health effects.
- Drowning is the #1 cause of death for children ages 1–4.
- It is also the leading cause of death for individuals with autism.
- For children ages 5–14, drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death, right after car crashes.
At B-Town Brazadas Swim Club, we’re committed to raising awareness and providing resources to keep families safe in and around water. Together, we can prevent these tragedies and protect the people we love most.
